Photographic Print on Fine Art Cotton Rag paper

After rain in the Blue Mountains, the forest draws inward. Moss gathers at the base of an old trunk, thick and luminous against darkened bark. Hydrangeas emerge quietly from the undergrowth, their pale blooms half-hidden in layers of green.

The light filters gently through the canopy, never fully arriving, only brushing the surface of leaves and bark. Everything feels close. Intimate. As though the world has narrowed to this one quiet pocket of earth.

There is no spectacle here. Only texture, breath, and the slow presence of growing things. It is the kind of place you might lean against the tree and stay longer than intended, listening to rainwater slip from leaf to soil.
