ARTIST PROFILE
Sudheera Dissanayake
Sudheera Dissanayake (artist name: sudjuice) is a multidisciplinary artist based in Western Sydney whose work draws deeply from his Sri Lankan heritage, Buddhist philosophy, and transcendental experiences. With a practice rooted in abstraction and expressionism, his paintings are known for bold brushstrokes, symbolic compositions, and emotionally charged palettes. Over the past decade, Dissanayake has developed a distinctive visual language that has been exhibited widely across solo and group exhibitions both in Australia and internationally.
Alongside his personal practice, Dissanayake is the founder of Little Umbrella Collective an inclusive, artist-run initiative that supports creative collaboration between artists living with and without disabilities. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Art Therapy and teaches visual arts privately and through NDIS-registered provider Studio ARTES. His teaching is grounded in compassion and accessibility, with a commitment to fostering connection across diverse communities.
