Valentina Ramirez is a Colombian multidisciplinary artist based in Sydney, Australia. Working primarily through painting and mixed media, her practice explores memory, nostalgia, self-reflection and the quiet beauty found within everyday moments. Influenced by journaling and daily observation, her works emerge from small details, fleeting emotions and loose thoughts that seek to leave the mind and take form through painting.

Through expressive gestures, layering and intimate visual language, Valentina creates works that feel both personal and emotionally open, preserving sensations that might otherwise disappear with time. Her practice moves between figuration and abstraction, creating spaces that feel familiar,  and contemplative all at once.

Valentina completed an Advanced Diploma in Graphic Design in Sydney and is currently completing an Advanced Diploma of Visual Arts. Alongside her art practice, she has a background in Industrial Design, which continues to influence her attention to composition, materials and spatial relationships.

Her work has been exhibited in student and group exhibitions in Sydney Art School.
